To recover from the pandemic, Russia may resume flights to Georgia in autumn

TBILISI(BPI)- Russia may resume direct flights to Georgia in autumn,  the Association of Tour Operators of Russia says.

According to the Association,  flights to Georgia and Egypt may be resumed in autumn in a bid  to recover Russia’s economy. Thus, the demand for flights in this direction is great.

Note that after mottos were sounded against Russia in the meetings in front of the Parliamentary building in Tbilisi on June 20, 2019, according to the decision of Russian President, mutual flights with Georgia were suspended on July 8. The Russian side related the decision with protection of the safety of citizens and amassed debts of Georgian Airways Company.
