Georgia decreases energy waste

TBILIAI(BPI)- Georgia shows a decreasing trend of energy  consumption.

In 9 months, the country consumed up to 9 billion kWh of electricity that is 6.4% or 615 million kWh less than in the previous year.

exports also fell and  in 9 months of the current year  Georgia exported 152 million kWh of electricity that is  36% less than last year.

In  the reporting  period, the country imported  927 million kWh of electricity. In the first days of November, imports are carried out from Azerbaijan and Turkey.
