Price of Carrot and Potato Rise by 12% in Georgia

TBILISI(BPI)- Potato and carrot prices have increased in many countries of the region, the market report by East Fruit reads.

As to Georgia, the country is recording quite negative dynamics of prices. Experts assert that a lack of high-quality products and offseason period provoke a hike in prices.

Tariffs rose by about 7% in Russia and Ukraine and the price of 1 kg of potato and carrot totaled about 30 Cent. As to Georgia, last week, the price of the mentioned products rose by about 12% and the price of 1 kg of carrot and potato made up 67 Cent.
