TBILISI(BPI)-In January-July 2019 copper ores and concentrates are Georgia’s top export commodities which exports amounted to $ 364.9 million and makes 17.4 percent of total exports. The exports of motor cars totaled $ 317.3 million and make 15.1 percent in the total exports. The ferro-alloys exports are the third in the list and totals $ 195.7 million making 9.3 percent of the total exports.
The top import commodities in January-July 2019 were petroleum and petroleum oils whose imports reached $ 404.4 million (8.1 percent of the total imports). The motor cars followed in the list with $ 366.9 million, or 7.4 percent of imports. The copper ores and concentrates were third in the top import commodity list with $ 330.1 million (6.7 percent of imports).
