Retired doctors to join fight against COVID-19 in Georgia

TBILISI(BPI)- The Ministry of Health is set to return  retired doctors to work to fight COVID-19.

According to the Minister of Health Ekaterina Tikaradze, the retired doctors are ready to join the fight.

 

Tikaradze says that the Ministry of Health has already contacted retired doctors and the state is actively using their resources.

“Of course, the involvement of our retired doctors is very important. We have found their contact information and they are ready to fight against the coronavirus. Therefore, their resources will be actively used by the state. At this stage there is additional mobilization of doctors of all profiles, who have the relevant skills and can manage patients,” Tikaradze notes.
