More than 500 persons transferred to quarantine zones in Svaneti

TBILISI(BPI)- In Svaneti more than 500 citizens were transferred to quarantine zones organized by the Georgian National Tourism Administration.

In relation to confirmed coronavirus cases, under the instruction of the Coordinating Council, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the National Tourism Administration arranged quarantine zones in 20 hotels in Mestia Municipality.

According to the National Tourism Administration, as for now, 518 citizens were transferred to the quarantine zone. Out of 518 citizens, 343 were placed in hotels in Mestia while 171 were transferred to quarantine zones in the Adjara region.
