Gov’t may further tighten COVID-19 restrictions

TBILISI(BPI)- “The Government Coordinating Council is discussing additional pinpoint restrictions to reduce spread of COVID-19,” the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Deputy Prime Minister Maia Tskitishvili states.

“The Council is discussing what additional measures and pinpoint restrictions could be introduced to combat the spread of the virus such as  nighttime weekend,  or any one day of the week movement restrictions or in specific locations.

All these are pinpoint solutions that will be used if the need arises considering  the epidemiological situation. Such measures are taken  in neighboring and other countries of the world, ” – Maia Tskitishvili notes.
