TBILISI(BPI)- 2,775 newly confirmed cases of infection were revealed in the country in the past 24 hours, – Alexandre Khojevanishvili, representative of the Interagency Coordination Council, said at a briefing at the Government Administration.
He spoke about the latest statistics on coronavirus and the measures taken by the government in the last 24 hours.
“We still maintain positive dynamics in terms of the growth of recovering people. In particular, 3,560 people recovered in the last 24 hours, and the total number of recovered people increased to 37,019.
Unfortunately, 22 people died in the last 24 hours, including 8 in Tbilisi, 6 in Adjara, 7 in Imereti and 1 in Kvemo Kartli. Since February 26, 2020, we have a total of 423 deaths”, said Alexandre Khojevanishvili.
