TBILISI(BPI)- According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 27,373 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 13,217 antigen tests and 14,156 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 1,578 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours.
The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 305,850.
As of April 26, the daily positive rate is 5.76%, for the last 14 days – 4.19%, and for 7 days – 4.48%. In the last 24 hours, 909 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of recoveries increased to 287,938. 17 new deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 4,060 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 1,578 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 1,001 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara – 128, Imereti – 89, Kvemo Kartli – 56, Shida Kartli – 61, Guria – 39, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 84, Kakheti – 63, Mtskheta- Mtianeti – 41, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 8, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 8.
