TBILISI(BPI)- The National Bank of Georgia has released a silver collectible coin to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding meeting of the Democratic Republic of Georgia (Parliament).
The founding council of the 1919 convocation was the first Georgian Parliament created in the history of Georgia as a result of the first multi-party democratic elections.
The National Bank of Georgia responds to this remarkable date by issuing a silver coin of 5 GEL nomination of collection purpose.
The coin designer is Nita Gongadze.
The coin has been made in Poland, whose realization price is 75 GEL. The new collection coin will be on sale from February 27, 2019.
The main composition of the coin reversal is the graphic image of the building where the first founding meeting was held. ”Georgia” and ”5 Laris” are engraved on the coin.
