Georgia sees a rise in milk and meat production

TBILISI(BPI)- According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Office, 193 million liters of milk were produced in the 2nd  quarter of 2019 which is 1.8% more than in the same period  of the previous year.

 According to Sakstat, in the second quarter of 2019, meat production amounted to 15.9 thousand tons, which is 4.6 percent more than in the corresponding period of 2018.

In the reporting period a total of 151.1 million eggs were produced which is 5.4 percent less than in the same period of last year.
