Georgia-Russia rugby match to be held without audience due to coronavirus outbreak

TBILISI(BPI)- The Georgian national rugby team will hold its final match against Russia within European Rugby Championship in empty stadium.

As the Rugby Union of Georgia said the decision was made amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Those citizens, who have already bought tickets to attend the match, will receive their ticket money back.

“The match between the Georgian and Russian rugby teams will be held without audience. Those, who have already bought the tickets to attend the match, please address the TKT.GE to return the paid money back,” Rugby Union of Georgia said in a statement.
