TBILISI(BPI)- Major Chinese importers have expressed interest in Georgian products. Georgian olive oil, whiskey and tea will be exported to China, according to the Partnership Fund of Georgia. Official agreements have been signed with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce as part of the Economic Relations Development Business Forum of Dziangsi Province.
With the support of the Partnership Fund of Georgia, more than 15 Georgian companies took part in the exhibition. Georgian companies introduced natural products at the Georgian pavilion.
Agreements on exports of Georgian olive oil, whiskey and tea to China were signed with the Silk Road Investment Company at the Georgian Culture and Wine Centre in Dziangsi Province.
From the Georgian party the documents were signed by Giorgi Svanidze, founder of Georgian Olive, Jimsher Chkhaidze, founder of Askaneli Brothers company and David Sumbadze, founding partner of Nikora company.
“We have been working on joint projects with Partnership Fund. The Fund also popularizes Georgian natural products on the Chinese market. We take efforts to introduce, besides Georgian wines, all those Georgia products that raise interest in Chinese consumers. Georgia has serious exports potential and Georgia-China free trade regime promotes this factor”. Liu Dzi Mini, founder of the Georgian Culture and Wine Centre and Silk Road Investment Company, noted.
