EBRD has Increased Georgia’s Economic Growth Forecast

TBILISI(BPI)- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is expecting  (EBRD) 4,5% economic growth in Georgia this year, which is a 0.6% increase compared with previous forecast.

EBRD is expecting one of the highest growth in Georgia among Eastern Europe and the Caucasus region. The current year’s forecast for the region is as follows:

Armenia 3,5%

Azerbaijan – -0,5%

Belarus – 1,5%

Moldova – 3%

Ukraine – 2%

Turkey – 5,1%

Russia – 1,8%
