2,922 Citizens Denied Entry to Georgia over the Past 6 Months

TBILISI(BPI)- In 6 months of 2017, 2,922 citizens  denied entry to Georgia. According to the statistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 7 631 offenses were recorded at the border in 6 months.

 

Citizens of India denied entry to Georgia most often- 571, citizens of  Turkey – 492; Azerbaijan – 418; Russia – 230, Syria – 175 and Uzbekistan – 171.

 

According to statistics, most offenses are related to denial of entry to Georgia followed by deportation, violation of visa and border regime.
